27th Scandinavian and Singaporean Hand Surgery Congress

The 27th Scandinavian and Singaporean Hand Surgery Congress will be taking place in Tallinn, Estonia on 21-24 August 2019.
Over the course of 4 days, a broad spectrum of topics will be discussed, as there will be 2 sessions running in parallel with one targeting surgeons, the other hand therapists as the audience. There is going to be a pre-congress session on WALANT (Wide Awake, Local Anaesthesia, No Tourniquet) surgery on 21 August led by Dr Donald Lalonde. Prof Teoh Lam Chuan will hold the Moberg lecture on the topic of personal case studies of long term results of upper limb microsurgical reconstruction.
Well known specialists in their fields have been invited to present their experience. The final list of faculty as well as the final programme will be announced soon. Meanwhile, see the webpage www.sssh2019.ee or the documents attached for details.
Submission of abstracts is open until 30/04/19
Before the Congress itself, the Finnish Society for Surgery of the Hand is organising a wrist arthroscopy course in Tampere Surgical Education Center, just a short trip away from Tallinn. Please refer to the documents attached.
